Supervision workshops offer bioenergetic trainees and clinicians a valuable and rare opportunity. A setting is created in which participants can focus to how their own patterns of limitations can interfere with the direct therapeutic work with clients. The goal for participants is to become clearer about their own specific blocks that counteract the results of therapy. By combining the styles of Al Lowen and Frank Hladky, this workshop offers a supervisory lens through which participants can gain greater understanding of their own dynamics within the therapist/client relationship and also the opportunity to actually soften their own defense patterns. This workshop also provides supervision credits required in the clinical phase of the training for graduation from the program.
